Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA) Savar: A Guide to the BBA Admission Process

AIBA Savar is an affiliated institute of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), offering a 4-year BBA program. If you're interested in pursuing a business degree, here's a breakdown of the admission process for the January 2025 session:

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, you must have:

• Passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examinations.
• Obtained a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC, 3.25 in HSC, and an accumulated GPA of at least 7.00.
• If you have a General Certificate of Education (GCE) O-Level and A-Level, you must have a minimum average grade point of 2.5 in O-Level and 2.0 in A-Level, with a total GPA of at least 6.00. No 'F' grade is allowed in any subject at any stage of your exams. 

Application Process

1. Obtain the Application Form: You can collect the application form from AIBA Savar or download it from their website.
2. Fill Out the Form: Complete the application form accurately and attach photocopies of your SSC, HSC, and equivalent certificates and transcripts.
3. Pay the Application Fee: Submit Tk. 765/- (including transaction charges) to the provided Bkash number.
4. Submit the Application: Physically submit your application form to AIBA Savar or send it via email.

Admission Test

The admission test will be held on 28 December 2024 (Saturday) from 10 AM (written) and 2 PM (viva). The syllabus for the test covers Bangla, English, Basic Science, Mathematics, IT and ICT, General Knowledge, and Fundamentals of Business Administration.

Selection Criteria

The final merit list will be prepared based on a combination of your admission test scores and your SSC, HSC, or O and A Level examinations. Results will be announced on the AIBA website and via email.

Tuition Fees and Other Facilities

• AIBA Savar offers flexible tuition fees.
• Students can avail themselves of medical assistance (health insurance), CMH facility, transportation facilities, and hostel and mess facilities.
• Scholarships are available for eligible candidates.
